The New Hunger Hits Shelves This October

Since its initial release two years ago, the short story/novella was available only as an e-book here in the U.S.

It is a prequel to Warm Bodies, where Julie is 12 and R has no idea what he is. Nora also has a more significant place in the story than she did in its chronological successor (If you haven’t read Warm Bodies, you can find my review here).

In his most recent post, Marion announced that this is no longer the case, and the story will be available as a paperback starting October 6.

For those who have read the e-version, the physical copy has been edited and revised. Marion has stated that it’s not essential to read the added prose, “but it is new and it is relevant to the upcoming sequel [to Warm Bodies].”

Amazon, as well as a host of other electronic vendors are accepting pre-orders.
